Apple Catcher is an edutainment game where apples are falling from a tree and the player must type the corresponding letters to "catch" the apples. It contains information on proper typing technique as well, to help the player sharpen their typing skills.
This game was created for a game design class. The project was to create any sort of edutainment game. I remembered playing a similar game when I was younger, but it was just letters falling, and no theme. I wanted to add a story to my game, so players are more invested to play and have a real goal rather than just "type the letters".
